The ADAM Program was developed by LexisNexis to help recover missing and exploited children with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). ADAM uses advanced technology to distribute missing child posters via fax to a specific geographic location via area code, zip code or even a pin on a Google map. The missing child fax is delivered to local law enforcement, hospitals, news media, schools, businesses and other recipients. NCMEC has recovered 171 missing children thru the ADAM Program since May 2017.

How ADAM Works

  1. NCMEC send a photo and details of a missing child incident to ADAM, including a geographical area of the search target.
  2. ADAM examines a database of all possible recipients of the NCMEC missing child poster within the designated area.
  3. ADAM transmits the missing child poster to the targeted recipients.
