RightFax 10.6 is just around the corner

So I just finished looking over some of the features coming in RightFax 10.6 and thought I would share a quick run down of what coming to a data-center near you.

There are four main categories in the new RightFax 10.6 version:

  • Compatibility
    • Updated support for Microsoft applications
      • Windows Server 2012, Exchange 2013, SharePoint 2013, Office 2013 and more.
    • Updated Integrations
      • SAP ECC 6 EP4 and ECC 7, WebSphere support for versions 7 and 7.5,  Even more MFP support.
  • Compliance and Security
    • RightFax Encryption Module
      • Encrypts all fax images stored in the RightFax image directory
    • Federal Information Processing Standard Compliance
      • RightFax now operates in FIPS compliant mode when FIPS is activated in Windows
    • RightFax Vault

      • New and improved Archiving options leveraging Alchemy
  • Enterprise Grade
    • RightFax Collectives
      • Now supports up to 12 Shared Services servers
    • Microsoft SCCM
      • Rollout the RightFax client package vis Microsoft SCCM
    • Service Management
      • RightFax 10.6 sets the services to automatically restart if there is a failure
    • Web EFM
      • Web EFM now updated to support the major browsers, not just IE
    • Interoperability
      • RightFax 10.6 will ship with Dialogic SDK 6.6, inproved In-band DTMF signaling for PRI and SIP
  • Ease of Administration and Use
    • Alerting and Monitoring
      • Integrates with MS SCOM
    • Enterprise Fax Reporter
      • Fax Channel Utilization by group and over time
    • Fax Notification Improvements
      • Improved ANI support in notifications, and several other cool improvments
    • Microsoft User Access Control
      • RightFax 10.6 fully supports Microsoft UAC
    • Delegate Groups
      • Now you can add RF groups to be a delagate of a mail box
    • Per Job Conversion Quality Settings
      • Large improvements in PDF conversion for quality
